Sunday Morning Capitola

Chicas stroking!
Chicas yapping!

Took the spouse and cousin to the church of SUP at Capitola, CA. Foggy conditions on arrival. Waves were 1-2 ft, seas were relatively calm and wind was probably around 2-5 nots from the SW. Arrived around 8:50 a.m. and the women were in the water by 9:15. Sun peeked out around 11:15 and the wind kicked up about that time.

Several longboarders were surfing off the point and vendors were setting up their wares for the art/craft fair. A large band was playing oldies on the stage and people were enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. Women took a break around 11:15 and I took the quad/coffey over to privates to catch a few waves and get some exercise. Managed to keep dry, keep the hat on and not lose the sunglasses. Spent about 30-40 minutes total time and turned the board back over to the wife. The ladies went back out for about 30 minutes into a steady breeze and called it quits after almost reaching their target buoy. They saw lots of dolphins, seals, pelicans and were even warned about a pirate.
